Category Management Intern

As part of Global Category Management, this position is a key member of the US CatMan team focused on driving analytics and strategic support to SharkNinja’s cross functional business partners across product development, retail, results optimization and proactive business insights. Our interns are exposed to high-level projects stemming from top management, meaning plenty of exposure for you as you look to make connections and build your career. In this role, you will support analytical processes and tools to provide ‘best in class’ Category reporting for SharkNinja. Your role plays a critical part in assessing trends, understanding the market, and strategizing how to win versus competition. This role will report into the Sr. Analyst of Category Management.

Responsibilities:

Highly analytical - comfortable mining and analyzing data and drawing conclusions

Help answer overarching business questions from top leadership using available resources including data and advanced tools

Responsible for consolidation and share out of weekly competitive intel reports

Track and analyze sales, promotions, and competitive information to drive growth

Ability to manage several projects in parallel, navigating a complex cross-functional matrix

Requirements:

Analytical Advanced Microsoft Excel/Office skills

Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Preferably 3rd or last year undergraduate student with a BS degree in a business-related discipline (Management, Finance, Marketing, Sales, etc.)

Ability to work full time during the summer
