What you’ll do

As a professional in Deloitte’s Tax Management Consulting (TMC) team, you will be a part of a team that provides a holistic and integrated approach to refine and further automate our software development lifecycle. You will be working directly with the application developers, functional experts and project managers to thoroughly test and sign-off on changes and proactively identify potential issues in business applications.

As a Quality Analyst Senior, you will contribute to the growth and success of Deloitte Tax LLP in a variety of ways, including:

Creating and executing:

Test plans against product releases and execute manual and automation testing based on the requirements while testing all level of complexity system applications and verify output.

Design, review and deploy:

New test packages including test case and test script design, development and maintenance, test execution plans and test data development.

Quality Assurance:

Ensuring conformance and application of test process management tools process and guidelines, along with participating in process improvement initiatives by providing feedback on deployed process, helping with the piloting of software quality control methodologies.

People development:

Participate in the development of team members.

Cross Functional Teaming:

Understand and articulate the broader TMC practice and Deloitte overall.

Qualifications

Required:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or similar degree

4 years of relevant experience

Scripting skills in JavaScript and .Net

Experience on either Jasmine or TestNG frameworks

Experience with: Automation Scripting and Manual Testing, database, integration, compatibility, UI usability, installation or security testing

Experience in using Selenium\Protractor or any other automation tool

Experience with Agile development

Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

CPA, Enrolled Agent, or other appropriate certification (either in process or able/willing to obtain)

Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

Experience writing the test cases and test plans

Experience with VSTS
