Responsibilities

Lead Solutions Architect translates complex business needs into technical systems solutions with proven expertise in Salesforce ecosystem. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance spanning across the segments of Healthcare Services division of Humana. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. Guides multiple teams on the Salesforce ecosystem adoption by partnering with various architectural areas of the organization in direct collaboration with Salesforce.

Responsibilities:

Collaborates with multiple areas/segments under Healthcare Services division of Humana on solution architecture related activities

Partner with several key stakeholders across the organizations to help inform the roadmap decisions

Actively collaborates, guides and influences the key decisions involving the Salesforce ecosystem including but not limited to Salesforce Healthcloud, Commerce Cloud, Mulesoft, Heroku and the related pieces of the ecosystem

Engages with Salesforce directly to stay tuned into the evolution of the ecosystem to help drive the adoption of the key capabilities in Humana

Strong integration capabilities to stitch the Salesforce ecosystem products together to deliver solutions enabling integrated member experience

Maintain the technology roadmap for HealthCare Services assets that informs key strategic decisions related to technical solutions

Lead technical discussions with business partners through ideation phase of initiatives that help formulate the project scope. This will require the ability to communicate complex problems in layman's terms. Develop presentations and reports to support the case

Works closely with Application architects to develop solutions with an enterprise mindset for Healthcare Services segment and develop estimates for the work effort during early stages of ideation

Responsible for identification of existing business risks related to the implementation of the proposed technical solution

Drive the architecture and technology solutions with Cloud and Digital first approach

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field

Salesforce and Cloud experience is mandatory

8 years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field

Demonstrate people and process skills to work directly with senior leadership and Engineering teams across areas. Ability to communicate effectively to various key stakeholders and the associated teams with wide variance on business and technology expertise

Experience having a balanced mix of technical and business skills, work with Business partners and Enterprise Architecture for strategic direction. The main focus is on the technical decisions being made regarding the solution and how they impact the business outcomes

Candidate must have solution architecture and cloud architecture skills with ability to work with multiple key stakeholders with some level of uncertainty which is part and parcel of now a days business world

Candidate must be willing to switch the gears as needed to swing between different areas of the organization based on the designated assignments and exigencies of duty

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

5 years of experience working in Salesforce ecosystem

Experience in Healthcare, Clinical, Pharmacy or Care Delivery related systems is highly desired.

The candidate is expected to play the role of integrator while collaborating with several areas with in HealthCare Services focusing on Salesforce ecosystem to help influence the business outcomes

Additional Information

Will report to Chief Architect(Principal Solutions Architect) of Healthcare Services IT division
