JOB SUMMARY

Carilion Clinic - Technology Services Group (TSG) is seeking a seasoned Application Analyst III in Roanoke, VA. You will work alongside our EPIC ADT/Identity team to provide support to the enterprise IT applications and systems.  Additionally, you will be tasked with assiting with the implemenation of new applications across the organization and development of technical documentation.   

Duties and Responsibilities include: 

*Conduct analysis of application design including but not limited to planning implementations and maximizing application benefits. *Develops and maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of assigned applications and related development and maintenance tools. *Assist with resolution of more complex issues, track issues and provide updates to peers, leadership and clients.  *Serves as a primary liaison between TSG groups, clients and vendors and as a mentor to others in the department.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business or equivalent experience required. 

Experience: Minimum of five years of related experience.

LIcenses/Certifications:  Valid Virginia drivers' license required.  Vendor and/or industry certifications/proficiencies as determined by management.

Other:

*Must be a self-initiated team player that can work under little supervision, with strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills. *Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting and serve as a mentor to others in the department. *Must facilitate a positive and collaborative work environment. *Must be flexible and capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. *Effective communication skills (oral, written and presentation). *Primary business hours Monday-Friday including some weekends, holidays. *Will require after-hours on-call coverage *Occasional travel required.
