ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The successful candidate will work with an international team of IT Administrators to provide daily support of a global enterprise network.
The Candidate will independently design, support, troubleshoot and maintain the enterprise network, including routing, switching, LAN, and WAN services. The Candidate will also document standards, implementation procedures and troubleshooting processes. Must be available to work 24x7 support rotation, which includes fielding trouble tickets. Must have good communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Strong technical knowledge in networking within one or more disciplines: Network security and network management, Palo Alto Firewall Services, Cisco Routing and Switching, Silverpeak WAN optimization, Aruba wireless systems, and other IP and Voice services.
Mentor Tier 1 engineers.
Must be willing to provide Tier 3 network, firewall and voice infrastructure support.
Manage strategic projects/issues in a complex infrastructure and generate associated device configurations.
Troubleshoot infrastructure problems, including response time issues, downed circuits, misrouting of data/ voice calls, etc.
Place orders for all voice and data circuits and ensure billing issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner. Ensure disconnection of circuits in closed locations.
Coordinate installation of new circuits and moves of existing circuits.
Work in a global engineering team environment.
Must be willing to work other than normal business hours, including project work during weekends, and response to pager/cell phone 24x7.
Must be able to work with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills.

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in voice/data communications.
CCNP or equivalent experiences.
Senior level hands-on knowledge of Palo Alto NG Firewall Systems, including advanced functionality.
Senior level hands-on knowledge of Cisco Router and Switches, including advanced functionality.
Senior level hands-on understanding of telecommunications technologies (Internet, and MPLS) is required.
Strong understanding of enterprise IDS systems (Checkpoint SmartDefense, Cisco IDS & wireless IDS systems).
Thorough knowledge of the OSI protocol stack, and experience with routing and switching technology is essential.
Working knowledge network troubleshooting tools (Network General Sniffer, EtherPeekNX, etc.)
Strong knowledge of WAN optimization technologies such as Silverpeaks.
Experience with Aruba wireless technology.
Hands on experience with monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, NMIS, ThousandEyes.
Familiarity with Network/Voice Operations processes and procedures.
VOIP experience is a plus.
It will be great if you also have:

Compensation: The annual base salary range for this role’s listed grade level is currently $116,400 to $157,000 plus bonus for California residents. Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, location and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members. Employees in this role are also eligible for the following benefits in accordance with the terms of the Company's plans: health, dental, vision insurance, life insurance, flex time off, eligibility to enroll in 401k, 12 paid holidays.
