Location: Albany candidates must be local to the area

ONSITE work will be required

Job Duties:

eCR application development and enhancement.

Writing and testing NYSECR application code.

Query optimization and code enhancement within the NYSECR application and other BSDS applications that collect COVID-19 data.

NYSECR application server configuration.

NYSECR application error log analysis.

Maintenance of NYSECR database (Oracle) to support development needs of the ECR application.

Modification and creation of new tables in eCR database.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science.

An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in JAVA development is required.

A minimum of 5 years of experience with Java/Weblogic.

A minimum of 3 years of experience with Java Persistence Architecture (JPA).

A minimum of 3 years of experience with Spring ORM.

A minimum of 3 years of experience with Hibernate.

Ability to work with and relate to staff and demonstrate active listening skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to foster teamwork with all levels of management and staff.

Ability to work well independently and within a team.

Exceptional Customer Service relationship techniques, including superior verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

Experience in meeting deadlines and adhering to strict standard

Process oriented and results-driven work strategy.
