Sign On/ Relocation Bonus Available ENSCO seeks innovative team members to support the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service’s (NESDIS) cloud initiative that seeks to explore the potential of the cloud to support its mission.We are seeking individuals to:provide cloud programming and software engineering support using industry standard software engineering techniques (K8, Docker)design, code, test, and document interfaces of moderate to high complexitywork with Government staff to coordinate science products, algorithm development and science processing. andsupport scientific processing, the creation of Delivered Algorithm Packages, and other research-to-operations efforts. BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or comparable degree5 years of relevant hands-on work experienceExperience with:AWSDocker and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes)RDS PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and data modelingThis position requires U.S. citizenship, or permanent residency (i.e. green card holder).Additional background checks may be required based on customer requirements.#LI-JM1ENSCO has been delivering engineering, science, and advance technology solutions to complex priority programs since 1969.
