Description
The Senior Application Architect designs and develops IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. The Senior Application Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities

An opportunity to build and expand Clinical Data platform and reporting solutions to solve fast growing Data and technology challenges. As an Application Architect, you will use range of latest and trending data technologies like SQL, Azure Synapse , Snowflake, Kafka, Streamsets and PowerBI to build resilient and functional data solutions.

This position will require a team player who is a good communicator, collaborates well with team and work across cross-functional Enterprise teams.
Some sample responsibilities of this position are:
Defining and Implementing architectural design patterns for clinical data products
Creating architectural design documents
Making architectural decisions that will be followed by our Software Engineers
Helping overseeing and support a team of developers
Providing architectural approach and tools to enable clinical business partners closer to data
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
6 years' experience as a senior developer in large IT projects
4 years' experience as an architect designing solutions
Database and reporting background, SQL,Power-BI, Power-Apps, Kafka and/or oracle, Snowflake, Streamsets, Tableau
Strong understanding of Agile practices, Secure coding and security practices
Experience with visualization tools
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Experience working with business teams in gathering requirements and translating them to detailed design
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Cloud Technology (Azure/GCP/AWS) and/or Snowflake / SQL
Experienced with Data Engineering design and development, architecture patterns and cloud native engineering
Experience with complex technical environments
