Description
The Lead, Business Architect / Business Relationship Management is responsible for defining and designing business architecture and capability models. The Architect aligns IT and corporate strategy, maintains business capability models to reflect new or improved process or IT systems, creates common standards to ensure integrity of the models, and influences corporate strategy through the lens of business architecture. The Lead, Business Architect drives and documents end-to-end design for capabilities across different applications and different channels.

Responsibilities
The Lead, Business Architect acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic enablement solutions.
Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
Develops/maintains business architecture strategy based on both line of business and cross enterprise needs.
Creates a Business Capabilities Maturity Model (BCMM TM).
Develops a scalable approach to enable adoption of BCMM.
Provides thought leadership and guidance forBusiness Capabilities maturing , growth, and practice improvements based on industry standards, academic rigor, theoretical soundness, practice and observation ofBusiness Capabilities.
Aligns business architecture to key strategic goals as well as enterprise objectives and key results (OKR).
Ability to deeply understand system complexity and data flow in support of communicating to key stakeholders and team members and identify and reinforce efficiencies.
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision.
Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
6 years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems and implementing process improvements
4 years of experience in supporting complex business and IT initiatives that required implementing advanced multi-platform applications to support modeling business processes using a variety of architecture tools and techniques
3 years of demonstrated experience in change leadership, process improvement or related functions
Experience in both large scale business and IT deployments, specially as they relate to technology
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
Ability to coordinate and communicate at a technical level with key IT partners in an effort to advance key business strategies.
Ability to document key business process flows and use them to drive requirements / story creation and IT understanding of business needs
Ability to effectively communicate with members of the executive/senior management team in both verbal and written forms of communication
Advanced time management skills
Strong organization and prioritization skills
Strong customer service experience
Proven skills managing multiple projects across multiple teams and functions
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree
Prior experience leading work intake for large scale SAFe Agile teams
BACOE Certified Business Arch or Senior Business Arch
