As a company focused on the health and well-being of the people we serve, Humana is committed to advancing the employment experience and vitality of the associate community. Through offerings anchored in a whole-person view of human well-being, Humana embraces a focus on stimulating positive individual and population changes while nurturing a sense of security, enabling people to live life fully and be their most productive.
Against that backdrop, we are seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Principal Enterprise Architect - Business Architecture. In this role, you will translate business needs into technical strategies, systems solutions, and architectural roadmaps, and will provide strategic advice and guidance to functional teams. You will also play a key role in understanding Humana's business strategy and mapping that strategy to business capabilities and the underlying technology to identify where business and technical investments should be made.
To support this activity, the Principal Enterprise Architect will work with stakeholders and industry experts to implement a Business Architecture practice within Humana. The Business Architecture practice will provide a common language (around Domains and Business Capabilities) that stakeholders can use to enhance the IT investment planning process. This role serves as a thought leader to challenge/influence all levels across the organization to rethink routine, and drive adoption of the Business Architecture practice. To ensure firsthand knowledge of solution architecture activities, this role will also be responsible for applying enterprise architecture governance over a subset of solutions. This firsthand knowledge will be used to enhance the Business Architecture practice and ensure its practicality.
You will directly lead a small team and will report directly to the Director of Enterprise Platform Architecture. Although Louisville, KY would be an ideal location for this position, for exceptional candidates we are happy to consider any location in the lower 48 states.
