Description

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for design, analysis, configuration and maintenance of complex systems software solutions, based on a thorough knowledge of systems engineering and programming concepts and techniques. Systems software engineering is a specialized area of software engineering focused on software that operates/controls computer hardware and provides a platform for running end user applications. Includes operating systems, device drivers, utilities, and software; development tools (e.g., assemblers, compilers, etc.). The Senior Systems Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

Humana is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer that:

Develops and/or modifies systems software for use internally.

Conducts requirements gathering and analysis.

Supports software testing, deployment, and maintenance activities by correcting errors and enhancements.

Begins to influence department's strategy.

Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.

Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

5-8 years as a Systems Engineer in design, analysis, configuration, and maintenance of complex systems software solutions, based on a thorough knowledge of systems engineering concepts and techniques

3-5 years' experience with Microsoft Config Manager (MEMCM) and Group Policy management

2-3 years of Intune (Microsoft Endpoint Management) experience. With emphasis on managing Windows machines in a Co-Managed environment with Configuration Manager.

2-3 years' experience with Windows Autopilot and related technologies such as Desktop as a Service, Cloud provisioning, Intune, and Azure AD.

Experience in Windows first time use configurations such as Bitlocker, Defender suite, taskbar, start menu, and profile customizations.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field

Infrastructure Industry related Certification

Experience migrating from Hybrid Azure AD Join to Azure AD only Join, GPO to Intune etc.

Cloud Management Gateway experience

Experience with the 1E suite of services, including Platform, Shopping, and Nomad
