Roles & Responsibilities:
The objective of this role is accountability for the enterprise views of the IT architecture landscape, application and creation of strategy roadmaps for a specific functional area (GPS).
Set overall direction, principles and guidelines for the functional area’s Architecture direction and alignment with strategy.
Leads the development and maintenance of the technical, application and infrastructure strategies
Act as a direct liaison in collaboration with the business partnership function to high level business representation in order to determine business need
Accountable for development of processes, standards and recommendations of technology standards within the domain
Translate domain business objectives and processes into conceptual architecture that includes functional and non-functional requirements
Skills/Experiences:
Minimum of BA/BS required
Strong business and product/solution knowledge preferably within the GPS/Manufacturing domain
Strong understanding of business strategy, priorities, and challenges preferably within the GPS/Manufacturing domain
Subject-matter expert in particular technical and/or GPS/ Manufacturing business domain
Knowledge of architecture methodologies, standards, practices, governance and reference patterns
