A belief that we're making a positive impact and a commitment to having fun.\u00A0We are seeking a\u00A0Principal Platform Engineer\u00A0to join our team.\u00A0This position can be located near our corporate offices in Waltham (MA), Austin (TX), and St. Petersburg (FL), as well as Costa Rica. Remote is also considered but must be near enough for occasional travel to one of the offices.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement full-stack enterprise software systems in an agile scrum environment.Create high-quality code testable through automation and CI/CD pipeline.Perform code-review for peer developers in the team.Assist with, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues.Help inform and guide development best practices within the engineering team.Build and maintain tools associated with deployment and DevOps platform.Strong knowledge in open-source technologies.QualificationsMinimum of a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science or related discipline10 years designing and building enterprise applications8 years of experience with Java developmentExperience with Linux based operating systems and RPM packaging and repository.Setup and configuration of virtualization, firewall, load-balancing, replication, routing protocolsExperience with IaC and CI/CD pipeline tools.Experience and good understanding of Git and Github.Knowledge on OpenLDAP desirable.Experience in AWS with VPC, subnet configuration, EC2, AWS CLI, creating roles in EC2, AMI, create firewall rules.Experience with Apache or any other web Servers on Linux based operating system.Working Conditions\u00A0Indoor working environment.\u00A0Physical Requirements\u00A0This role is regularly required to walk, climb stairs, sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.\u00A0At Imprivata, we have a top-notch work environment, developmental opportunities, a competitive total rewards package, and the desire to have fun.
