The Opportunity

Nutanix is hiring a Senior Manager to join our US Customer Experience organization. The Senior Manager of Resident Consultants is a business stakeholder with a strong technical background involved in all aspects of the resident consulting business. In this role you will work directly with sales and customers and align our resident services to customer needs. You will also be responsible for successful service delivery. As a Senior Manager you will be expected to work with your peers to improve our business and broaden our service offerings.

Your Role:

The 

Senior Manager, Resident Consultants

is a leadership role managing a group of resident consultants.

Develop direct relationships sales teams and customers to provide education and help sell and staff residency positions.

Ensure successful service delivery and check in regularly with customers to ensure that Nutanix and our resident are meeting customer expectations.

Drive operational aspects of service delivery including milestones, revenue recognition, service margin and other operational aspects of the residency business.

Ensure that your team develops and continues to grow their personal skills and abilities.

Function as a member of a collaborative team of managers that are expected to work together for joint success of the residency team.

What you’ll bring:

A Bachelors degree in in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent experience

Effective leadership experience required, with goal setting and action plans for career development on a team and individual basis.

Must exhibit an effective customer service attitude and be able lead when resolving difficult customer situations.

Must utilize exemplary verbal and written communication skills when dealing with customers and business partners.

Skilled in leading and motivating talented engineers.

Project management experience or background, with experience in handling multiple projects and priorities.

Knowledge and proficiency in staff scheduling, workload analysis, performance management, and interviewing skills.

Must be motivated by challenges and be able to offer multiple solutions for a problem.

Able to develop individual and team objectives to contribute positively to organizational goals and direction.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a People Manager for a technical team

A keen knowledge and experience with the Nutanix and related data center solutions (VMware, Dell, HPE, Lenovo, and others)

including VDI.

Deep understanding of storage technologies and data protection technologies like replication, snapshots, backup, restore, etc.

A passion for delighting customers and building relationships.

High level of comfort performing white boarding sessions, group presentations, and crafting documents such as white papers, processes, and other customer centric documentation.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $143,200 and $214,800/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
