Learning Management System LMS Manager

Profile

Interactive Brokers, a global online securities and commodities broker, is seeking a talented Learning Management System Manager to consolidate the global roll out of our LMS system and create governance for the platform. The successful applicant will be passionate about learning technologies and carries strong experience administering complex systems.

Key deliverables for this role are:

Overall responsibility for the Global learning management system (LMS), including system, people and security

Document and establish Governance for our LMS platform

, including related policies and procedures

Responsible for managing the life cycle of content (i.e. uploading, updating, expiring, etc.) in accordance with established data integrity, rules, and LMS Enrollment processes for each of the functional business units

Engages with IT, INFOSEC, Compliance and HR teams to ensure integration between all learning technology

Establishes a strong relationship with vendors and external service providers related to our LMS system and other learning resources

Maintain training library content, relevant workflows and permissions in partnership with the learning and development teams, whilst evaluating course usage and monitoring completions

Evaluates course usage and monitors completion

Source professional licensed e-learning

content for our LMS

Work in partnership with other members of the Training team to incorporate e-learning programs and learning plans into the platform

Compiles and creates reports necessary for compliance audits in a timely manner

Troubleshoots and makes decisions in order to handle LMS issues, including report requests, and other complex issues

Mentor & support internal resources in the use of Adobe Captivate and the LMS overall

Provides SCORM assistance, including SCORM wrapping, package testing, and package uploading into learning platforms

Qualifications

Essential

Minimum of 3 years of Learning Management System experience; administration, reporting and analytics, or similar experience

Proficiency in Excel

Experience in creating, running and distributing standard and sophisticated custom reports

Passion for learning technology

1 year of equivalent work experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Captivate

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent time management and project management skills

Desirable

BS/BA in business, education, computer science, Instructional Design

, or another relevant field will be advantageous

Experience with additional video editing software tools such as Adobe Premier, Final Cut or After Effects

Creating and uploading SCORM compliant content

HTML/CSS/JavaScript

Mobile learning principles or experience (HTML5/responsive web design)
