Database Administrator:

Experience working with various database management systems in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and administration of multiple platform environment.

Experience managing and maintaining production and non-production databases.

Experience performing backup and recovery on physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration.

Experience with performance of backup and recovery of database management systems, configuring database parameters, and prototype designs against logical data models.

Experience defining data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements.

Experience optimizing database access and allocating/re-allocating resources for optimum configuration, performance, and costs.

Experience supporting multiple services and multiple databases of medium and high complexity with multiple concurrent users. Experience ensuring control, integrity and accessibility of data.

Experience supporting a High Availability Clustered Databases.

Experience serving as technical lead for consultation and guidance in the development of the system through all phases of a project.

Experience reviewing documents (including requirement documents) testing plans, development plans, and architectural plans.

Experience in oversight of system architecture and database architecture for statewide projects.

Experience working with state government (preferred)

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint

Technical knowledge of relational database design
