Description
The Lead Solutions Architect is an opportunity to join the Digital Health & Analytics (DH&A) team within Humana to build a world class Data Science and Insights enterprise capability leveraging digital-first platforms, analytics, and agile development methodologies.
We are seeking a talented Lead Solutions Architect with experience building data science / machine learning systems in public cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure. This role will also involve meeting with industry experts, reviewing/selecting enterprise technology tools and processes, designing solutions, and getting hands on with the implementation. This is a unique role that will play a pivotal role in creating a robust cloud architecture.
Responsibilities
The Lead Solutions Architect translates business needs into technical systems solutions while working across multidisciplinary technical teams to implement the solution. This position is concentrated on creating robust data science systems in a large cloud ecosystem, so in depth expertise on data science system engineering is required. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
8 years of technical experience.
Extensive experience in engineering data science systems
Strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively articulate complex technical and business requirements in meetings with stakeholders, vendors and industry standards bodies.
Working experience in Healthcare analytics.
Strong experience delivering solutions in a public cloud, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Prior project architect and/or technical team lead experience.
Passionate about improving customer experience and building scalable solutions through rapid prototyping and iteration.
Helpful to Have:
Master's Degree
Experience of health plan operations and technology.
Person must be willing and able to work East Coast hours.
