The Data and Reporting Professional 2 generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The Data and Reporting Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities

As an HCS Compliance & Risk Management Data and Reporting Professional 2, you will be responsible for supporting the Reporting and Audit Compliance program for Clinical/Health Care Operations teams. The HCS Compliance & Risk Management Data and Reporting Professional 2 will be an essential player in the development and implementation of the clinical compliance program. Primary responsibilities will include the development of data files, dashboards, and audit tools, along with analysis of results and reporting out to stakeholders.
This role works closely with Humana's clinical compliance leadership team to develop and deliver operational reporting and performance measures around Humana's clinical programs, processes, and initiatives. You will create datasets and reports based on auditor requests while understanding department, segment, and organizational compliance. In this role you will:
Develop customized reporting logic to pull a population of records for audit requests, metrics, and dashboard support
Develop and support a self-serve Clinical Compliance Dashboard to report quality audit results to key stakeholders
Create and maintain technical specifications, work instructions, training documents, and data governance processes to ensure consistency in data development, utilization, and reporting
Conduct independent research necessary to fully understand and correctly utilize the required clinical data
Continually identify ways to improve and enhance current reports, increasing value and usability
Derive observations and insights from metrics to support and improve clinical operations
Role Essentials
Bachelor's Degree in an IT, Business, or a quantitative discipline; or equivalent work experience
Extensive experience working with SQL
Skilled at building custom reporting, databases, and spreadsheet-based tools to support execution of work activities such as auditing, monitoring, and oversight
Must have the following experience in Excel and PowerPoint: formulas, pivots, charts, and graphs
Experience developing dashboards for key stakeholders
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word & PowerPoint
Capable of working independently, using general strategic direction, to design and implement defined deliverables
Strong communications skills to report to diverse audiences
Role Desirables
Familiarity with the Clinical Guidance Exchange (CGX) and the Clinical Data Mart (CDM)
Experience in Humana Clinical Operations
Experience in managed care or health care sector
Ability to collaborate with business partners to define the detailed requirements of a data, metrics, or dashboard request
Working knowledge of SAS, QlikView, and/or Power BI
Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment
