Description

The Senior Solutions Architect works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. The Senior Solutions Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Solutions Architect translates business needs into technical systems solutions. Integrates hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications

Experience implementing and supporting corporate networks (WAN/LAN/wifi/remote access)

Strong knowledge of resilient and recoverable infrastructure technologies, designing applications and solutions for resilience and recoverability

Prior experience developing conceptual and logical architectures

Solid understanding of security protocols, authentication, authorization and security

Bachelor's degree or 5 or more years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization (leading technical discussions and communicating with leaders)

Thinks in terms of capabilities and the technologies to deliver

Must be able to collaborate and lead discussions with multiple teams to develop solution architectures

Seeks to understand and manage business requirements and expected outcomes across multiple teams

Able to identify and assess risks to mitigate and eliminate technical obstacles that negatively impact the delivery of a solution

Must be assertive and responsible for the creation of solutions that meets or exceeds business expectations

Microsoft Azure Solution Architect or Google Cloud Architect certification
