The role:
FastPay is expanding its Account Development team. We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic candidates looking for the challenges and rewards of working in a small startup environment. You will be part of a collaborative development team and
will work with enterprise level supplier deals and successfully manage and continue to develop the supplier solutions and product capabilities to support supplier AR needs.
Responsibilities:
Achieve assigned quota within your given territory by selling FastPay’s portfolio of financial technology services and software development offerings for media industry clients.
Build a territory and account plan for the given fiscal year, leveraging existing pipeline, targeted account planning, prospecting efforts, and marketing initiatives.
Maintain pipeline progress and forecast accuracy, and opportunity progression via CRM.
Present FastPay’s value propositions and offerings to prospects and new clients.
Drive FastPay’s sales process and methodologies, collaborating with internal stakeholders (Customer Relationship, Marketing, Operations) to effectively close new client deals.
Be proficient in identifying, validating, and building relationships with all key individuals within a client’s organization.
Drive contract negotiations with clients, leveraging internal and strategic business partners as appropriate.
Willingness to travel 50%
Develop scalable processes to identify and capture new customers and partners in a competitive industry
Collaborate with cross functional internal stakeholders acting as a key liaison between the sales, marketing, and product / technical teams
Provide market intelligence and partner feedback to applicable internal teams to evolve the supplier product suite
Represent FastPay at industry events and conferences and manage team’s presence at each event
Job Requirements:
7-10 years Sales, Business Development, or Product experience in media, ad tech, or related industry a plus
Proven track record of closing $1M to $5M in software or digital services per year, having demonstrated sales experience within media or payments in new client accounts.
Significant experience and strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem including a well-developed network of contacts, is a plus.
Skilled in all aspects of consultative sales and business development to include prospecting, initiation, deal qualification, closure, and customer satisfaction/client management.
Experience interfacing and selling products to both enterprise and smaller media suppliers and publishers
Strong understanding of media supplier ecosystem, preferably with pre-existing relationships with major media suppliers
Familiarity with media supply side ERP’s, accounting systems, and inventory management platforms within the media ecosystem a plus: Wideorbit, Mediaocean, Freewheel, Ad-Juster, Google Doubleclick suite, MOAT, Netsuite, Oracle, etc. a plus
Exceptional aptitude for building business relationships and creativity to understand business problems across multiple stakeholders
Ability to rapidly understand and articulate technical products and services
