Description
The Senior Full Stack Engineer Performs software engineering activities in all layers of the stack, from setting up the database to programming in the back-end and the appearance at the front-end. The Senior Full Stack Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

We are currently in the process of standing up the Enroll and Onboard Delivery Team that will follow Agile practices. As a Senior Full-Stack Developer you will work with an agile team of UI/UX engineers, designers, researchers, full-stack-, data-, and DevOps engineers focused on building high-impact, innovative products aimed at transforming the customer experience and retention for our members and associates.
We are looking for a seasoned Full-Stack Developer / Software Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in the Microsoft tech stack and experience in modern JavaScript, Node.js, .NET, Angular and SQL/NoSQL data stores to join our cross-functional agile product development team. Our internal stakeholders include insurance product, strategy, customer service, care management, home care, digital health & analytics, and IT.
Our apps are written in a variety of programming languages, and our back-end services are built on .NET, java and Node.js. Apps and services are deployed either on-prem or in Azure requiring cloud based capabilities. We use SQL, MondgoDB, and CosmosDB for our data store. Many of our solutions will incorporate open systems requiring a fundamental understanding of streamsets, event management, and API connections.
The team is a distributed onshore team that operates remotely, working Eastern Standard Time hours.
Required Qualifications
5 years of professional experience as software engineer or a full-stack developer
3 years of demonstrable experience building software systems and solutions with the Microsoft tech stack (.NET, angular) and/or modern JavaScript stack (Node.js, )
Capable of independent judgment/ decision making on complex issues
Experience in working with a agile team/functional area in determining methods and procedures for new and reoccurring tasks
Experience with designing and building backend, front-end and API solutions
Comprehensive understanding of modern software architecture and patterns. Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes. Strategic thinker with strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging complex codebase. Experience with performance profiling and optimization
Experience building containerized solutions in public and hybrid cloud environment
Demonstrable experience with modern software development process, principles, and practices (continuous integration/continuous delivery, change management and version control, test-driven development, automated testing, peer-reviewed code)
Deep understanding of agile principles and how they can be flexibly applied
Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
All-hands on deck contributor
