We're hiring a Senior Manager in our Infrastructure Engineering organization, which powers an ecosystem of over 200M athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and people pursuing a healthy lifestyle. In this role, you will work across engineering and development teams to build and operate cloud services and CI/CD tools that enable our developers and partners to fulfill Under Armour’s mission to make all athletes better.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a team of engineers that designs, builds, and maintains services that are critical to Under Armour's Digital Ecosystem
Understand business requirements and collaborate vertically and horizontally to help achieve business objectives with technical solutions
Work up and down our tech stack to improve services and the developer experience
Establish a strong vision that brings us iteratively closer to a cloud native world
Finding cost savings related to vendor technologies
Debugging complex problems across distributed systems
Helping other teammates grow through mentorship and coaching
Strong leadership and soft skills with the ability to make important decisions
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Experience leading and managing a team building infrastructure at internet-scale
Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud computing platforms, to include the command line, API, and web user interface
Extensive experience operating container-based deployments and orchestration tools
Experience operating infrastructure at scale utilizing microservices architectures
Familiar with high volume messaging infrastructure such as Kafka
Familiar with multiple programming languages and the ability to quickly use new ones
Strong cross-functional teaming skills to coordinate and implement changes/solutions with product and engineering teams
Demonstrated ability to elevate and advocate the Team’s contributions, develop business cases and gain investment support for platform expansion, and envision and effectively evangelize ‘the future’ of Under Armour’s Digital Technologies
Education And / Or Experience
Computer science/IT/engineering bachelor’s degree, or equivalent real-world experience
Requires 10 years of IT/technology experience
Requires 5 years of cloud experience
Requires 1.5 years of container-based deployments and orchestration experience
Experience coding scripts and using APIs to build custom solutions
Experience working in DevOps environments using JIRA ticketing workflows
Experience with regulatory frameworks such as PCI
Experience with Terraform, EKS, Vault, AWS Blueprints a plus

Base Compensation Range: $171,000 - 235,000
