Systems Engineer/Administrator

Profile

Client is in need of an Administrator to help them migrate applications into the cloud. Location: – Greene, NY (hybrid) – MUST be on site, 2 days per week. The Cloud Administrator will be joining a Team to help client migrate applications into the Azure Cloud. This is a role where you will work with a small team (there is one dedicated Cloud Administrator today) and help them with day to day administration and then to help them strategize migrations of applications into the Azure Cloud. ). The ideal profile is someone in the position of a Windows Administrator with good Azure skills looking for a new role. Must Haves:

1) Six or more years of technology support and/or administration experience

2) A minimum of two years working with the Azure Cloud infrastructure experience with implementations, migrations, and upgrades

3) Deep Microsoft Windows experience, in both Cloud and On-Premise environments

Preferred Skills:

1) Experience implementing hybrid and pure cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, including Exchange, O365 and Teams.

2) Experience with security and availability products such as Proof Point and Citrix ADC (NetScaler)

3) Prior work in the design scalable, secure, reliable, and efficient technical solutions to support enterprise applications and initiatives.

4) Experience with Azure Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).

5) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

Cloud Administrator Responsibilities:

Convert corporate strategies into tactical cloud solutions to meet critical business need, while innovating and building a modern, resilient infrastructure

Assist with the migrations of applications into the Azure cloud

Implements, monitors, and maintains Microsoft Azure solutions, including compute, storage, and network services, while providing integration to other cloud-based products and software.
