Job Description Summary
Humana Cloud Adoption Services team is looking for a Lead Technology Leadership Professional responsible to deliver new technological solutions coordinating solutions and building integration capabilities to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. The role is a highly visible that demands a proven expertise managing transformation with focus on agility and speed to value while maintaining high standards of customer service and overall engagement success for the Cloud Adoption Services.
The Technology leader works with solution engineering and Quality teams to drive products from design completion to production cutover/release. Co-ordinates and performs various engineering tests to verify and validate product designs. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
The leader responsibilities include, not limited to:
Provide senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprises overall cloud operation strategy, consumption and optimization opportunities.
Identifies, drives and assists in the implementation of opportunities to standardize cloud environments.
Evaluate data patterns/outliers and derive insightful knowledge that will direct strategic and operational decisions.
Deliver the tooling and capabilities needed to enable cloud compliance, metrics/reporting and cost management roadmap/strategy.
Act as subject matter expert in advising on new and different cloud services and resources.
Executes data-driven decisions by delivering operational metrics by analyzing operational data to identify trends and potential problems.
Define short, mid, and long-term cloud production operations strategy and roadmap.
Partner with clients on ongoing basis to help them understand their cloud spend and optimize it based on their unique needs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
5 or more years of project leadership experience leading complex IT projects
Knowledge of monitoring software for infrastructure monitoring as well as application performance monitoring including SLAs/KPIs and reporting approaches for the multi cloud platforms.
Experience creating advanced product level visibility/metrics that will help drive better business decisions and accountability.
A developmental mindset with the ability to discern patterns, drive efficiencies, and lower total cost of ownership for technology processes and solutions.
Experience providing chargeback, show-back, budgeting and forecasting as core capabilities of cloud financial management.
Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization and influence leadership.
Strategic thinking, planning, project management capabilities; organized and detail-oriented
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs
Ambitious and confident change-agent; strong advocacy and presentation skills (oral and written)
Ability to work with minimal supervision, making decisions based upon priorities, schedules and an understanding of business initiatives.
Detail oriented with excellent documentation skills/methodologies, who is able to successfully manage multiple priorities.
Leader and a team player with transformation mindset.
Ability to operate successfully in a lean, agile, and fast-paced organization.
Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization and influence leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced understanding of cloud platforms, consoles, and services (Azure, Google and AWS).
Deep understanding of the key concepts and practices of cloud observability, coupled with experience implementing robust systems that leverage metrics, logs, and traces to provide holistic state of the cloud operations.
A technical business acumen that ensures the organization is operating efficiently and effectively in a hybrid cloud environment.
Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data
Solid understanding of infrastructure and operation landscape with a focus on public cloud technology and how it differs from traditional computing.
Passion for and skills in resource optimization to improve cloud efficiency.
Ability to apply critical thinking to all aspects of the position.
Cloud certifications preferred.
