Today, SSC delivers resilient and affordable space capabilities and is responsible for on-orbit check-out, testing, sustainment and maintenance of military satellite constellations and other DoD space systems.ENSCO has existing contracts supporting USSF SSC and is currently seeking a Sr. Network Engineer with cyber experience to meet the requirements of these contracts.  Duties will include:Providing Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) support for various instrumentation systems including telemetry, command, control and payload.Perform engineering of system architectures, requirements analysis and decomposition, including system performance test and verification.Perform engineering analyses to predict and define problems, define/design actionable corrective measures, and operational implementation.Track requirements to subsystems, generate requirements documents.Participate or lead technical meetings and government-led studies, assess technical baselines, and ensure system modifications meet requirements.Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent and minimum 10 years of relevant experience to include:Experience with requirements traceability, system-of-systems integration and testing, test planning, development and execution testingDesign experience, implementation, and troubleshooting of voice systems, WAN/LAN networking and virtual desktop infrastructure.Proficiency with communication network analysis tools (Cisco IOS, Cisco ASDM, Palo Alto Pan-OS) along with Linux and Windows.10 years related experience in infrastructure/network/storage environments and designing, planning, documenting and implementation of infrastructure.Direct experience with the deployment of cloud or virtual based solutions.Applied experience in cyber security tool deployment to networked devices such as HBSS, Solarwinds, and SL1.Enterprise firewall experience – experience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls and gateway devices.Capability in the development of cyber security artifacts to support system accreditation. Understanding of networking principles in space applications.Experience with a variety of communication system architectures for variety of RF applicationsAbility to provide Cybersecurity advice on application design and testing, to include; risk management, security architecture, security requirements definition, test planning, methods of test, and test procedures. ACTIVE TS SECURITY CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. Working knowledge of the Air Force Satellite Control Network or similar communications architecture.Prior experience interfacing with multiple agencies to coordinate connectivity of new or existing ground systems. Experience developing required documentation to setup communications connectivity at military installations.Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)Project Management Plan (PMP) SCI Eligible#LI-AH1ENSCO has been delivering engineering, science, and advanced technology solutions to complex priority programs since 1969.ENSCO operates in the aerospace, avionics, national security, rail, and cyber sectors.
