Nutanix is looking for a technical program manager to manage programs to enable running Acropolis OS seamlessly across multiple Hardware Platforms, hardware/software integrations, server hardware technologies and integration in areas such as Compute, Storage, Network, Server Management, and Security. Your Role

Manage technical programs for NPI, hardware/software integrations, server hardware technologies and integration in areas such as Compute, Storage, Network, Server Management, and Security.

Firsthand

experience managing Platform

OEM and/or ODM

through development and qualification

cycles.

Create project plans,

execute,

and drive schedules with x-functional teams including internal and external stakeholders. Use your technical background and product knowledge to dedicatedly identify risks, issues and drive their

resolution.

Drive software development lifecycles with application of key project management principles

Drive software and hardware bug triages and

debugging and

facilitate to deliver fixes timely

Independently and accurately report on project status to the executive

team.

Define and deliver on KPIs for the organization, as well as driving strategic operational

programs.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations, with a tenacious focus on customer first mindset

and delivering

results.

Excellent problem solving and crisp communication skills, written and

spoken.

What you’ll Bring

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

5 years of experience in hardware engineering or software engineering and project/program management.

Bringing the level of expertise with Platform/Server hardware development, software development/QA, technical program management, product, analytics, and reporting is a requirement

Strong software engineering technical background with a real passion for delivering high-performance, quality software

Good understanding of SW release processes. Practical experience in waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Prior experience working with partners and customer engagement will be plus.

Experience with design bug tracking tools (Jira experience preferred) and Confluence for tracking and communication

Prior experience with Project management tools such as: Microsoft Project,

Smartsheets

, etc.

Escalation resolution engagement experience will be plus

Ability to maintain the urgency for project/program

delivery.

Familiarity with

any

programming language or any scripting language

Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Team player that works well in fast-paced situations and startup environments

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between

$108,000 - $216,000

per

year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
