The Senior Technical Lead at Humana will lead large scale projects that have excellent exposure to senior leaders of the company and drive significant financial impacts to Humana. You will be working in industry leading technologies and leading on-shore and off-shore resources to deliver on your responsibilities. Responsibilities

This amazing opportunity will be focused on projects that include building new applications from the ground up for Collections and Financial Auditing business functions. In addition, working with senior leaders of the Claims Cost Management business unit to define, build and implement new systems to support their ever changing business processes. Other responsibilities include:

Leads and collaborate with design engineering and test teams to drive products from design completion to volume production release.

Lead teams of on-shore and off-shore developers to deliver IT solutions for our business partners.

Makes critical technical design decisions and creating design documentation as well as supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components

Collaborate and coordinate with business partners in creating and understanding project requirements and business use cases.

Performs various engineering tests to verify and validate product designs.

Ensures that production schedules are followed and product(s) meet specifications and quality requirements.

Interacts with product engineering, quality, manufacturing and marketing teams to analyze and provide technical support to help resolve customers' product related problems/issues.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent years of experience

5 of leadership experience leading technical teams and/or projects

3 years of experience working with .NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 as well as technologies use in application(s) or infrastructure systems

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel

Experience with unit testing and mocking

Work at Home Requirements

Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or other Advanced Degree

Hold active certifications like a PMP or Six Sigma Certification

Experience with Azure/ADO or other cloud based systems a plus

Experience or knowledge with IEB technology

Experience leading large scale projects

Experience with technology solutions assessments and/or strategy planning oversight
