Tyson Foods is hiring for a Sr. Analyst Applications position that is a part of a multi-national business facing IT team. The primary focus of this role is partnering with our business teams to understand and solve everyday business problems with new and innovative technology solutions. Do you have the skills?

Do you have experience in cultivating strong business relationships by demonstrating an understanding of related processes, requirements, systems and terminology? Are you a catalyst for awareness of best practices, including processes and technology, and identify opportunities for improvement of existing functionality? Are you familiar with working on the execution of projects using both the Agile project methodology and Waterfall methodology? Are you passionate about analyzing and documenting functional and technical requirements or user stories? If you answered “yes!” to the questions above, Tyson really wants to get to know you!

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or an equivalent degree with experience equating to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

Experience: 4 plus years of experience in Information Systems or related area with relevant experience. IT experience with emphasis on manufacturing, transportation or warehousing a plus.

Communication Skills: Good verbal and above average written skills. Experience communicating technical information to non-technical team members.

Special Skills: Thorough understanding of business process design and experience with a System Development Lifecycle Methodology; experience in the following: developing reviewing and or modifying specifications configurations and or programs to meet specified requirements; analyzing and interpreting information systems proposals and evaluating and developing alternative implementation plans; working productively on a team. Must have the ability to provide constructive feedback to other team members; working knowledge of relevant multi-user computer systems applications and or equipment; knowledge of current technology developments and trends; extensive problem solving skills and experience developing and executing test plans; possess basic project management capabilities; ability to develop good working relationship with business area team members; Experience with SAP is a plus – especially IM/MM/WM/QM/PP-PI and/or eWM modules as well as experience with integrations to SAP utilizing IDOCs or Snaplogic
