Description

The Self-Service Analytics Platform team at Humana needs a technologically savvy agile IT project manager to drive advancements in analytics that will change how healthcare works. We need someone with agile facilitation skills to drive highly prioritized, scaled product efforts, with project management skills to deliver on project investments. We need someone technologically savvy, able to function in multi-cloud environments, with strong interest in business intelligence, low-code automation and applications, predictive modeling, and natural language processing. Most of all, we are looking for someone motivated by a mission of caring, curiosity, and commitment to the members and teammates we serve.

Responsibilities

The Agile IT Project Manager assembles and leads project and agile teams, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops schedules to ensure timely delivery of work items. Often actively manages stakeholder partnerships and mitigates risks. Familiar with the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. When managing programs, oversees the interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects, and sets strategies and leads program execution to deliver longer term business value. Can possess specialized knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks used to manage risks and issues unique to technology projects. Understands department, segment, product, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures. Acts as change agent enhancing the agility of the organization. Can act as scrum master and/or agile facilitator.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or a related field

1 years of technical experience

Demonstrated experience in technical product selection, technical design and practical implementation of IT solutions

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Agile certification (scrum master and SAFe preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business Administration

Longevity working in data engineering, decision support, and reporting system environments

Working knowledge of business intelligence, analytics systems, executive information systems, and statistical software packages

Working knowledge of multi-cloud systems and MS Azure fundamentals

Six Sigma and/or Project Management Institute certification

Experience in the health solutions industry

Additional Information

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.

Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)

Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
