Day to day tasks to be performed by the Consultant:

Specific duties will include:

Help develop/maintain data collection platform as needed for collecting COVID-19 and related data.

Help develop fully responsive and interactive user interfaces to support public health core informational website

Responsible for maintaining operational security of the aforementioned platforms by engaging in timely patching and monitoring for abnormal activity

Develop/maintain APIs to interface with data collected

Research and documenting technical designs

Programming solutions

Providing customer technical support

Developing unit tests and testing processes to ensure conformity of the application with business requirements

Implement change management; following the release management process, including the testing, promoting and releasing of applications

Systems Developer:

Develops and implements applications and programs for the backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations.

Senior 60-84 Months

Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education

83 months experience in developing medium to large- scale technical projects and assuring deliverables and project scope are met and well documented.

83 months experience in application design, coding, testing, maintenance and debugging skills and strong experience with Java 8/J2EE distributed application development, REST, and domain model microservices, Spring Boot and API gateway.

83 months experience in API design and implementation (remote vs local APIs, routing and reverse proxying, load balancing, optimization techniques).

48 months experience creating cloud native application design that can include aspects such as containerization, API First, serverless and microservices architecture.

60 months experience designing secure applications using security APIs, transport and message layer security, encryption and decryption algorithms for data security, SAML and multi-factor authentication.

48 months experience with developing within a cloud environment, with good knowledge on cloud infrastructure including AWS or GCP

60 months experience using version/source control, continuous integration, deployment and testing.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent in a relevant technology field from an accredited institution. A copy of the degree must be submitted with the Form B.
