Core Business Operations (CBO) is an integrated set of offerings that addresses our clients' core business issues. CBO provides a gamut of consulting services spanning advisory, implementation and operations. CBO practitioners help our clients transform, modernize, and run their existing technology platforms right from process design to implementation and finally ensuring roll-out transition.
CBO has four different offerings — Systems Engineering focused on design, delivery and support of large scale software applications and integrated systems; Cloud Engineering focused on end-to-end cloud services from migration strategy into transformation and cloud operations; Core Industry Solutions focused on industry vertical, sector specific solutions that drive operational change and automate the core of the business; and Operations Transformation focused on creating a flexible, innovative business model for clients supported by a strong operations foundation. CBO serves clients across Life Sciences and Health Care, Government & Public Services and Financial Services among other industries.
LOW CODE AND NO CODE – SOLUTION ARCHITECT
As a Solution Architect at Deloitte Consulting, you will work with product owners, developers, other architects, and stakeholders to design and implement solutions for our clients. You will coach developers in best practices for software engineer and architecture and design. You will be responsible for designing, building, testing and deploying web and mobile applications that provide business solutions for our clients.
Work you’ll do
• Master Low Code No Code technologies combined with modern software engineering practices to design and develop innovative web and mobile business applications
• Design, build, test and deploy applications that provide business solutions
• Follow established timelines, application development standards and quality processes
• Manage application design, development, enhancements, break-fixes, standard application changes and maintenance activities
• Perform peer reviews on deliverables
• Interact with clients, product owners, project manager / scrum master / tech lead, onsite and offshore development and QA teams, support teams and other cross-functional teams
• Communicate with client stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and to answer questions/clarifications
• Identify and mitigate risk/issues and escalate to project manager / scrum master / tech lead as required
• Handle real time issues occurred and troubleshoot to resolve and identify root causes
• Define and implement best practices for software engineer and architecture and design
• Mentor and/or manage junior team members
The team
CBO practitioners work on design, delivery and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives. These solutions range from large scale ground-up custom developed applications, to cloud based development and integration services as well as customizing industry sector focused packages. As a Low Code No Code capability hire on this team, you would get opportunities to work on all adjacent area technologies along with Low Code No Code solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or related work experience
Prior Experience:
• 6 years of work experience in software development and implementation
Technical Skills – required:
• Extensive hands on expertise in leading software implementation projects from Requirement Analysis, Design, Planning, Estimation, Coding, Code Reviews, Test Plan Preparation, Debugging, Unit/System/Integration/Regression Testing, UAT, Implementation and Production Support
• Experience in web development and understanding of web application architecture
• Proficiency in SQL programming and relational databases
• Proficiency in development languages e.g.: C#, Java, Python, PHP
• Proficiency in UI development languages e.g.: JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Deep understanding of REST and SOAP integrations
• Proven track record in enterprise wide API management, microservices, event-driven architectures and complex integrations, understanding of data types and data structures
• Experience and working knowledge with network protocols and network security
• DevOps experience
• Knowledge of coding standards, code reviews, source control management
• Ability to assess application performance and optimize application code
• Understanding of the technology landscape including open source, commercial on-premises, and cloud-based tools
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

• Low Code/No Code vendor certifications
• Experience with building proof of concepts
• Experience implementing Agile projects
Other Skills – recommended:
• Experience mentoring and/or training junior staff
• Experience working in an onsite-offshore model
• Experience working at a client site
