Typical assignments for the individual requested will be: Developing appropriate system documentation

Perform technical activities related to writing test plans, test scripts and use cases that will exercise WCF and WPF components

Assist in the use of semi-automated testing tools to ensure the logic supporting the development efforts meet specified performance outcomes/metrics

Support/participate in product test activities

Supporting the application through testing and implementation

Facilitate the knowledge transfer between the Technical IT staff and the Program staff responsible for testing, training, and implementation

Tester:

Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence.

Senior (60-84 months): Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education. Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field.

60 months experiences performing the analysis of software specifications and documentation to ensure completeness of system testability and to gain an understanding of the business processes needed to be verified during product test activities.

60 months experience defining test cases, test matrices, configuration test questionnaires, and writing test scripts from business documentation to confirm that the application has met business objectives. Including executing test scripts with little supervision.

60 months experience in developing testing metrics for project management in order to assess stability and status of all testing activities. Experience must include managing defect tracking, validating and reporting out results.

24 months experience in Ad Hoc testing. Ad Hoc testing, for this purpose, refers to the break me testing activities without following any formal test cases.

24 months experience identifying software issues and entering defects in a defect management system (Micro Focus ALM or a similar product)

24 months experience accessing Oracle databases using SQL Developer, TOAD or a similar product
