This enables holistic patient reporting of clinical and financial data that includes various quality metrics to support Providers in moving forward with implementing value based care operations and processes.
The Senior Application Architect designs and develops IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. The Senior Application Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Application Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
7 or more experience as a senior developer in large IT projects
Prior project architect and/or team lead experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experience
Strong technical experience designing and architecting database and data warehouse solutions including extraction, transformation, and load of data from various financial and clinical data sources
Excellent collaborative communication skills among business and IT development, Product Owner, and Senior leadership teams and individuals
Experience in Agile Software Development methodology
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Azure Cloud Fundamental, Developer, or Architect Certifications
Experience architecting a product capability in Azure Cloud
Development or architecting population health management product capabilities that includes enabling payor agnostic components within application
Microsoft SQL 2012, 2016, or 2017 Certification
Experience building and architecting hl7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR) interoperability standards for data exchange
Experience in utilizing web service API's to exchange healthcare data and building user web interfaces
