Description
The Lead Technology Leadership Professional is responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance. The Lead Technology Leadership Professional works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you would have a direct impact on the health, safety and well-being of all Humana associates and members. You will partner with HR business area to delivery all a brand new Intranet technology experience from the ground-up. You will be part of the team from platform/vendor selection through a multiple phased implementation approach utilizing leading industry technology platforms and design approaches.
Responsibilities
The Lead Technical Lead will be responsible for developing creative solutions to challenging issues associated with design, development, and sustaining engineering (including the migration to a DevOps model) for a large customized enterprise SharePoint application. The successful candidate will possess:
A solid technical understanding of the capabilities of the M365 suite of applications and bring a desire and excitement for product development and core engineering practices.
Be a self-starter, effective collaborator, and a strong leader providing technical expertise in SharePoint design and implementation, SharePoint customization, and optimization.
Ensure the end-to-end application supports the business needs from a project delivery, an architecture standard and compliance, and audit perspective.
Be delivery focused, while also exhibiting the ability to work on multiple assignments; exercise good judgment in decision-making; meet deadlines; work both independently and as a part of a team while also demonstrating an attention to detail.
Lead and drive the resources assigned to project to meet or exceed project targets: schedule, budget, and resource management
Manage vendors to achieve quality results based on contracts using IT policies and procedures
Primary point of contact for the program deliverables and interface across functional teams such as: business analysts, architects, quality assurance, performance, project managers, product managers, program management and senior leadership
Responsible for guiding cross-functional teams through the technical design of features and operation procedures with responsibility for translating project objectives to an execution level
Directs teams in the determination of feasibility of new or modified application designs by considering performance, costs, ease of implementation, serviceability, time limitations and other economic factors; expeditiously works with core team to decide on the best approach, and presents the same to product management and senior leadership
Anticipates potential conflict situations and proactively proposes solutions and resolves conflict situations, project bottlenecks as they arise, and negotiating effectively with project teams and cross-functional team to result in win-win outcomes
Works with SharePoint Platform core team to understand the impacts of application changes and platform changes on the core application and interfaced programs, working with other consumers of the SharePoint Platform to impact analysis, drive platform level changes critical to the program success
Coaches team members to ensure alignment project methodology and internal standards, including quality, performance, scalability, and security
Facilitates communication within the development teams working in the program
Participates and assists in continuous improvement initiatives and application re-factoring as new approaches and development techniques are introduced
Required Qualifications
5 years experience leading technology delivery teams
Agile methodology delivery experience
Experience with products in SharePoint ecosystems.
Relevant working experience including expertise in 'Enterprise Architecture' consulting skills such as interviewing stakeholders, conducting architecture reviews, and consensus building.
Professional and consultative mindset with commitment for excellent customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) and a minimum of 8 years of overall software development experience.
Deep knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack with demonstrated expertise on the SharePoint platform and experience with enterprise projects on SharePoint including intranet or extranet portals.
Understanding of Microsoft M365 capabilities, software architecture principles as applies to solutions and application architectures (specifically for portals, web sites and systems integration projects).
