Description
ESS Business Intelligence is an Enterprise Shared Services team focused on data, reporting and data science supporting Humana's Service Operations. The team is focused on converting data to actionable insights for our business partners who can utilize to reduce administrative cost and improve the customer's experience.
Responsibilities
This position will work within the ESS Business Intelligence team. This team is focused on gathering and documenting data requirements for Data Science, Data Consulting, Data Visualization and Reporting. The ideal candidate will have:
Ability to interact with business and IT departments in understanding user needs
Able to translate the business needs to technical requirements in terms of data needs
Responsible for writing/contributing to Vision and Scopes/Major features/Requirements for both IT and Business projects
Oversee all aspects of projects including conception, documentation, budgeting and reporting
Work with technical and business leaders to identify risks, set goals, track progress, and drive to resolutions
Identifies opportunities for process improvements
Coordinates with other teams to ensure all aspects of data needs are taken into account.
Coordination and completion of projects on time and within scope
Develop data requirements for system enhancement
Experience in performing in-depth data analysis to derive insights that drives business outcomes and decisions.
Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
Be an innovative thinker with an innate curiosity around data
Be self-motivated and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience in problem analysis and process documentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree and/or equivalent experience.
5 years' experience in the technical realm.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
2 or more years of project leadership experience
Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
Ability to balance competing priorities to drive for the best outcome
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Visio
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry
Six sigma certification
Previous experience with Genesys or other consumer experience equivalent platforms a plus.
Azure Certifications a plus.
Experience producing metrics, measurements and trend reports
Experience in problem analysis and process.
PMP Certification
