What We’re Looking For:

The Senior Data/Email Analyst drives business value through ongoing, portfolio-wide email channel optimization via data analysis, executive reporting, and ownership of email data visualizations. Leveraging multiple sources of data, you will inform email marketing strategy that spans across departments and product lines. As the Insights & Analytics lead, you will collaborate with stakeholders to innovate the email channel, explore new ways to further optimize the marketing funnel, and find operating efficiencies. Success in this role will require strong analytical skills, a consistent focus on and hunger for driving results, strategic thinking, and an ability to effectively partner with other parts of the organization.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Drive portfolio email strategy and optimization through consistent and ongoing data analysis of both automated and ad hoc emails. Establish and maintain frameworks to report on and monitor portfolio-wide email performance and the value of the email channel.

Own analytics and reporting for the email channel, supporting a portfolio of university partners and programs. Build and iterate on email data views using Tableau. Service the reporting needs of executive leadership and various stakeholder teams. Build internal email analytics competency by training the email teams to interpret data and optimize campaigns.

Serve as a champion of email testing and innovation. Partner with the CRO team to develop email experimentation strategy. Research, explore, and pursue new ways to optimize and innovate the email channel. Improve email campaigns with the goal to drive performance of our programs’ funnels - owning key initiatives end-to-end. Prioritize projects with a goal to drive incremental business revenue.

Own tech and data engineering stakeholder relationships, harness the power of Salesforce products and it’s connectivity capabilities with other systems. Optimize data mapping and data engineering practices. Work with the data engineering team to identify and implement an email attribution data solution.

Support team’s various operational data needs, including developing data views to understand and optimize team capacity and workload allocation.

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

5 years of experience in data analytics (experience with email data is a plus)

2 years of experience with Tableau, including designing and building executive dashboards. Strong analytical and data visualization skills, including working knowledge of Tableau and other BI tools

Experience driving marketing automation strategy with focus on measurement, optimization, and analysis

Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget); advanced understanding of platform configuration and cross-system integration - preferred

Bachelor’s degree required

Strategic mindset and highly analytical thinker with sound business judgment

Strong project management skills, ability to influence cross-functional projects, comfort and ability to lead conversations with senior level stakeholders

Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and other programming languages / analytical tools is a plus

Experience working with other Salesforce products is a plus (e.g. SFDC, Interactions Studio, Audience Studio, Ad Studio)

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $80,000 with potential bonus eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
