The Product Manager

is an accomplished achiever in designing, building and owning great software products. This role works in partnership with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Operations and our clients to improve our existing products and create new products. We are looking for someone who has solid product management experience with some technical expertise in the field of software, electronic payments, or general financial services.

LOCATION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will interact with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to understand our clients’ goals and pain points and brainstorm ways to improve our products

The Role:

Want to be part of the media world by working directly with leading media agencies to support their advertising payments through or ePay platform to the most influential media outlets? The Media Operations Analyst assists with ensuring successful onboarding, analysis, and ensuring all media payments are dispatched through FastPay. The Media Operations Analyst is responsible supporting FastPay products and services to their contracted media agencies and brands. This role provides customer support to the client, suppliers and our banking partners to ensure success of the ePay program. This role reports to the Operations Manager.

Provide service and support to media agencies and brands for FastPay products and services

Responsible for ensuring that all assigned payments are delivered and processed in a timely manner

Job Overview:

The Media Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the media operations team is running as well as it possibly can, with smooth and efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of other departments and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Directly manage and Operational staff

This includes weekly 1x1 for the Media Operations Analyst & Payments team members, performing reviews, goal setting, etc.

Pull data as it relates to new supplier outreach, delinquent payments, and manual payments to determine metrics

Maintain overall training workflow for new and existing team members

Maintain repository and documentation for Operations team

Assist in managing payment volume calculator to ensure we are staffed appropriately

Assist all internal departments and the operations team as it relates to engineering, product releases, customer feedback, budgets, and human resources

Actively participate in meetings as it relates to operations team partners

Provide direct support to the VP, Media Operations

Job Requirements:

BA/BS degree

4 years of experience in operations and project management

Experience and passion for creating process and collaborating with others

Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills

The role:

FastPay is expanding its development team. We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic candidates looking for the challenges and rewards of working in a small startup environment. You will be part of a collaborative development team that develops, tests, deploys and supports FastPay's suite of media finance products.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, deploy and support FastPay’s suite of software products on our SaaS infrastructure

Actively participate in the Scrum team including estimating user stories, daily stand ups and maintaining the sprint backlog

Be an advocate for delivering quality, usable, scalable software

Actively collaborate with product management as part of product planning

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Data Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent experience

3 years of experience working on a web / mobile application in one or more areas of the following tech stack:

Web application development using HTML / CSS / JavaScript (experience with modern web application frameworks preferred: Ember.js, React, Vue)

REST-based web services (experience with Node.js preferred, familiarity with Java or Python a plus)

SQL data storage and reporting (experience with PostgreSQL preferred)

Work experience in one or more of the following areas:

Agile / Scrum SDLC

Linux / bash scripting

Unit / integration testing

Continuous Integration & Delivery

Deploying / maintaining software on IaaS / PaaS (experience with AWS & Docker preferred)

Interest in financial products a plus
