You will be responsible for:

Help design, calibrate and enhance the firm’s AML and financial crime related surveillance reports

Identify patterns of potentially suspicious activity through review of customer data

Apply statistical analysis to calibrate the firm’s surveillance alerts to more accurately identify potentially suspicious activity for review by AML analysts

Refine business requirements and develop programming specifications from them

You are someone who has:

Experience with AML and BSA regulations

Master's or PhD in Statistics or a Quantitative Field

Demonstrated ability to work independently

5 years hands-on experience with AML or financial transaction modeling

Knowledge of financial markets, preferably in cashiering surveillance

Understanding of databases and SQL
