As an Associate Software Engineer

, you will play a key role in shaping the future of disruptive digital innovation in Best Buy Engineering.

The initiatives in this area will help transform and augment a customer’s journey to help drive the next evolution of our engineering products. You will help define and communicate the mission to build performant, relevant, and impactful software at Best Buy. You will grow to understand and triangulate across technical engineer's needs, platform product analytics, and external industry innovation to offer best-in-class experiences to Best Buy engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

0-2 years of relevant experience

Development experience with JavaScript/ECMAScript, JSX, and CSS (Less or Sass).

Experience with version control systems (GIT, TFS, etc)

Understanding of basic web application architecture (client/server, RESTful APIs)

Advanced CSS experience creating animations and interactions

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building tests with Jest, Cypress, or similar library

Build process experience, automation (Gulp / Webpack)

Knowledge of performance and web accessibility best practices

Node JS, React, Redux, Express Server
