Description

This role will have overall product management responsibility for Humana's telephony solutions leveraged by non-contact center employees, including approximately 20k end-user touchpoints. This product line is instrumental to a complete and cohesive collaboration suite, with hybrid work becoming the norm. The Lead Product Manager will be responsible, in partnership with our Architecture team, for evaluating platforms, driving proof of concepts, usability analysis, determining strategic fit, all to ultimately select and drive the successful implementation of our next non-member contact telephony platform. Experience with PSTN, telephony, unified communications platforms are preferred, in addition to product management experience or demonstrated competencies to include discovery and research (technology and user), strategy definition and alignment, and product performance management.

The Lead Product Manager of Collaboration Technology conceives of, develops, delivers, and manages products for customer use. The Lead Product Manager works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. The Lead Product Manager will work closely with peer product managers that make up the overall Conferencing, Telephony, and Productivity Solutions product group, designers, architects, product team engineers, and executive stakeholders. They'll drive discovery and research efforts and align strategy to product team execution.

Responsibilities

The Lead Product Manager Leads all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the workforce, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific cost and success outcomes. Once products are launched, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting customer needs across each customer segmentation, adjusting products over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (see below)

8 years of technology experience

3 years experience as a product manager/owner or team lead, including team backlog ownership

2 years experience working in an agile and/or product-centric operating model

Track record of successfully owning, defining, and executing complex strategies and plans, including platform/vendor selection ownership

Clear and concise oral and written communication skills

Preferred Requirements:

3 years of engineering, product, and/or design experience within collaboration and/or telephony technologies (e.g. PSTN, Cisco CUCM, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.)

Additional Information

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
