Sr Analyst IT Change and Release

SUMMARY: This senior analyst is expected to participate in IT Change and Release activities throughout the systems development lifecycle. The primary role of the senior analyst will be to closely align with Defined business processes to insure and document that procedures were followed as changes were made in dev, QA and production applications and system. Further responsibilities will include developing and maintaining a professional and technical knowledge of the implementation and release process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Project Delivery and Process standard compliance to preset rules around implementation such that all procedures can be followed in future implementations. Elicit analyze and document differences in processes to provide a well-defined implementation plan. Insure consistency across configuration of a variety of software packages. Assist in test plans for given software releases. Cultivate strong business relationships by demonstrating an understanding of related processes requirements systems and terminology. Maintain awareness of best practices including processes and technology. Support /Create/enforce processes that that can be repeated to ensure quality of systems that support key Customer business processes. Collaborate with the functional end users’ vendors and IT peers to support applications system integrations and capabilities as needed. This position responsibility spans all aspects of the IT landscape and will coordinate and process system changes

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: College degree or Vocational Technical education in Computer Science Information Systems or other technical area. Related experience may be acceptable. College degree preferred.

Experience: 3 plus year of industry experience in Information Systems 4 plus years preferred.

Computer Skills: Advanced general computer skills required. Must be proficient in coordinating project planning and installations.

Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally with customers peers and management required. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required. Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.

Special Skills: experience with Mainframe, SAP, and Charm a plus.
