Ward and Smith, P.A. is a growing full-service law firm with multiple offices throughout North Carolina. We are seeking a Technical Trainer and Helpdesk Support Specialist who may be located in our Raleigh, Greenville, New Bern, or Wilmington office.

This valuable team member will be responsible for providing technical support to our end-users as well as creating, curating and delivering training on firm systems and software applications, both current and planned, in a manner that is easy to understand and retain by a non-technical audience. You will be responsible for conducting training classes, developing training programs, assisting IT staff in testing, working on special projects, supporting users with tech solutions, providing high-level technical support for end-users resolving difficult support cases, coordinating and running monthly training workshops, delivering new hire training as needed, maintaining course curriculum class materials, among other tasks.

The position requires an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working in a fast-paced legal environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary to excel at this role. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or commensurate work experience. CTT (Certified Technical Trainer) or Microsoft Certified Trainer certifications preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Windows operating system a must.
