The Information Security Officer, IT Delivery will report to the Executive Director, Cyber Risk Management and will be the primary interface between the Cybersecurity and IT Delivery organizations. Partnering with the Information Security Office & IT Delivery teams, this role will ensure identification, analysis and mitigation of risk associated with Cyber Security of our digital assets.

The Information Security Officer, Global Drug development will report to the Executive Director, Cyber Risk Management and will be the primary interface between the Cybersecurity and IT Delivery organizations. Partnering with the Information Security Office & IT Delivery teams, this role will ensure identification, analysis and mitigation of risk associated with Cyber Security of our digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Partners with business stakeholders to identify, analyze and mitigate risk associated with Cyber Security of our digital assets.

Establishes trusted relationships with business stakeholders and advises on risk decisions related to the protection of digital assets

Brings a knowledge of IT Delivery to enable build and run functions

Provides management oversight for the security review process

Provides consultation to Delivery IT stakeholders on initiatives and Technology, providing Cyber Security expertise as well as providing Cyber Security thought leadership.

Reports, escalates and provides solutions for Cyber Security issues identified within IT Delivery

Leads highly diverse, time sensitive and often complex projects, activities

Directly contributes to execution of the Enterprise-wide Cybersecurity strategy

Partners with Business & IT stakeholders to evangelize cybersecurity and build a cyber vigilant culture working with a network of distributed agents

Key Competencies:

Bachelor Degree in relevant area;

10 years in an IT discipline

5 years of experience in Cybersecurity is expected

Demonstrable leadership skills/experience

Understanding of application, cloud, security due diligence is desirable

Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and the ability to influence decision making

Ability to analyze initiatives or processes and channel the appropriate resources to facilitate meaningful risk managed outcomes to enable IT

Demonstrated track record of interacting/influencing with senior business leaders

Ability to identify trends that inform the broader cybersecurity strategy

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required

Growth mindset - Proactive at keeping current with advances in cybersecurity
