About the Team:

The IT Services team is a diverse group of technology professionals responsible for the systems and network infrastructure that powers Rent the Runway’s corporate offices, warehouses, retail stores, and drop box locations. You will be joining a strategic group that cross functionally services the Rent the Runway business and partners across the entire enterprise. The IT Services team is helping the company achieve scale by enabling expansion to new sites, as well as driving innovation and efficiency throughout the businesses IT processes.

About the Job:

The position of IT Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for engineering and maintaining the RTR endpoints such as Mac OS-X, Windows desktop and server, iOS and Android devices used through RTR’s corporate and fulfillment center operations. You will also have exposure to systems such Okta, Active Directory, Azure, Windows Servers and enterprise backup systems. This role is for an experienced hands on endpoint engineer that is a subject matter expert (SME) in endpoint management systems, procedures and best practices and has experience working with IT infrastructure systems and is looking to join a fast scaling company. This position will be staffed in the Dallas Fort Worth metropolitan area. This is not a work from home position but there is the opportunity to work remotely at the discretion of the business. Occasional travel, less than 25% may be required for special projects and training.

What You’ll Do:

Perform implementation, administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance within Windows OS, SCCM, Apple, JAMF, Android, and SOTI environments.

Windows desktop OS and Mac image creations, customization of features, and deployment across the enterprise.

Package applications for distribution via client management tools.

Leverage automation to supplant tedious administration tasks with Jamf and SCCM.

Meet endpoint support and service delivery objectives through the design, development, and delivery of custom solutions related to automation, monitoring, and application performance optimization.

Work with the Security Team to ensure deployment of security patches for operating systems and desktop applications.

Provide tier three support across the enterprise for issues related to the desktop OS and applications. Ensure all client requests and operational problems are updated/resolved in a timely manner.

Maintain standardized system configurations across operating environments utilizing configuration management framework and automation.

Evaluate new products/services and provide effective solutions to meet client needs.

Ability to identify and evaluate desktop OS and application solutions that enhance the security of the desktop environment, while balancing overall user experience and ease of use.

Be a technology partner to the various business units in powering all warehouse facilities, retail and corporate locations with leading technology solutions.

Function as a contributing member of the Service Desk team enabling and driving value to the business through design, implementation, and management of the information technology infrastructure.

About You:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience along with at least 5 years of well-rounded IT engineering experience.

Strong understanding of the Windows Desktop OS architecture, packaging, scripting, and automated deployment tools (SCCM, MDT, PowerShell), MS Office Suite, Active Directory, GPO, and Bitlocker administration.

Strong understanding of the macOS architecture, packaging, scripting, and automated deployment tools (JAMF).

Demonstrated experience managing desktop environments using Microsoft and macOS technologies for user and computer management, software updates, application installations, and environment monitoring.

Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows Desktop OS, macOS configuration, Android configuration, and deployment in a large enterprise environment.

Experience managing Android and macOS devices using an MDM solution.

Ensure physical systems are compliant with required security standards.

Strong working knowledge with scripting languages - PowerShell, VBScript, shell scripting/batch files.

Strong diagnostic and root cause analysis skills

Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with the ability to change priorities on the fly.

Passionate about delivering exceptional client experience and tier three support.

Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Able to empathize and collaborate with colleagues, independently manage and run projects, and prioritize efforts among conflicting priorities.

Have a working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
