Responsibilities
The Senior Application Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
The Architect will be accountable for architecture oversight of the interfaces into and out of our Encounter platform. This role will advise on approach for new Medicaid state implementations and existing business including upgrade recommendations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent/ relevant work history
7 or more experience as a senior developer in large IT projects
3 or more years Encounter experience
Prior project architect and/or team lead experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Will be working on a cloud based Vendor SaaS (software as a service) application.
Keenly accountable for the interfaces between Humana and this application (i.e., enrollment feeds, provider data, claims, etc)
Forward thinking to monitor opportunities to change batch files to API
Partner's closely with our Solution Architects for new implementations and existing states

For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
