Work you’ll do

The SQL/ETL Developer will operate as a cross-functional practitioner, joining an agile development team supporting an agencies performance management process. This role will involve both hands-on technical and functional work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, Informatica, MicroStrategy, custom web applications, and AWS in support of a business intelligence and analytics team with requirements and functional & technical testing.

This Deloitte team currently provides support through business process reengineering, financial data metrics capturing, workforce strategy design, customer service operations, and the development of multiple ad-hoc deliverables, including dashboards and reporting tools.

The Analytics & Cognitive team leverages the power of data, analytics, robotics, science and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making. Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architecting organizational intelligence programs and differentiated strategies to win in their chosen markets.

Analytics & Cognitive will work with our clients to:

Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms

Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions

Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Active Top Secret Security Clearance or above

2 years of professional experience

2 years of data warehouse and ETL development experience

2 years of PL/SQL development experience

2 years of experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, Informatica, MicroStrategy, and/or AWS

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or business-related field

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Desired Skills:

2 years of prior professional services or federal consulting experience

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Affinity for learning new programming languages, tools, and applications

Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
