Minimum
requirements
: A minimum of 3-5 years relevant work
5 years of experience focused on Active Directory Administration and related subjects
Experience architecting, designing, and maintaining Microsoft Active Directory
Experience in deployment, administration,& troubleshooting and maintenance of Active directory and Windows server environments for large and complex sites
Experience with virtualization technologies
Advanced working knowledge of Windows Operating & Systems
Strong organizational and documentation & skills
Must demonstrate excellent & English-language skill, good written and verbal communication skill, and & ability to learn new technology at a rapid pace and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve complex IT & technology issues/problems
Must be able to successful and manage multiple tasks, and work with minimal direct supervision
Ability to organize and prioritize daily work and maintain strict confidentiality
Ensure Change Control and other processes and procedures are followed
Ability to identify and establish expectation in an employee/employer (subordinate/manager) relationship
Must be able to work with a team, take direction from manager, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention & on details, and follow work rules.
Experienced in operating and administering Enterprise environments
Certifications, licenses, registrations:
Microsoft AD certifications preferred
Azure Cloud certification preferred
Microsoft MCSE certification preferred
Competencies, skills, and abilities:
Excellent troubleshooter, good communicator and possess excellent time management skills is required
Additional Requirements:
Designing / Architecting / Maintaining Active Directory Infrastructure in a multi forest enterprise environment. Candidate should have strong skills in these areas:
AD Backups / Forest Recovery
AD Replication
AD Site Link Costs
Group Policy (Creation and targeting)
Internet Domain Registration, Administration, and Renewals
Solid understanding of networking principles such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANS
In-depth knowledge of security best practices
General Windows, PC, network troubleshooting skills e.g. logon, server connections, RDP sessions, etc.
Familiar with Windows Server OS’s up to 2019
Familiar with certificates (requesting, installing, updating)
Able to efficiently use Microsoft Office suite of tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
ADFS federation / farm administration
DHCP Server
DNS Server (internal and external internet)
Understanding around cloud computing technologies in one or more of the following areas is also HIGHLY desirable in addition to Active Directory experience: Dell HP Server hardware, technologies used for remote administration and troubleshooting
AD connect, sync, transform, ect.
Microsoft AAD MFA / Conditional Access
Azure Federation / SSO / SAML / OAUTH; Azure Application proxy; Azure Core IaaS and PaaS: Compute, Storage, Networking, High Availability
Data Governance, Cloud Security
Experience in one or more languages (PowerShell, BASH, Python, C#, Open Source)
Offer customer guidance on infrastructure migration techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud
Knowledge with designing, deploying and monitoring virtual servers, desktops and applications in the cloud
SolarWinds or other monitoring systems;
Jira or other ticketing systems
Other Duties as assigned
Solve highly complex problems, involving broad, in-depth product or application knowledge.
Provide after-hours support and participate in after-hours on-call rotation. During the scheduled interval of performing on-call duties, will be required to stay within the general vicinity of the offices to respond promptly to issues. Will also be required to track and document all incidents; stating the time of the call, the nature of the call, and what actions were taken to resolve the problem or issue.
