Job Description

DUTIES: Manage team responsible for designing and developing content discoverability and speech recognition technologies in the Voice Search Engine Platform (VREX), to power voice enabled devices and mobile applications; lead QA teams in creating test plans and strategies to identify scenarios for testing search APIs; review and verify requirements and design specifications for validity in overall product design; develop quality assurance test philosophies and methodologies throughout the software quality assurance lifecycle; utilize Java, Rest APIs, Spring Framework, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies to perform automated software testing in a cloud environment; oversee software testing using AWS products, including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and DynamoDB; utilize MongoDB to identify viable test strategies that support testing product functionality; deploy software using Docker; manage testing projects using Maven and GIT version control systems; review test plans and scenarios to identify and resolve testing gaps; and identify and report issues and risks before deploying software to production environment. In performing duties, directly supervise three (3) employees, including software developers and quality assurance engineers.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and six (6) years of experience performing automated software testing in a cloud environment using Java, Rest APIs, Spring Framework, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies; of which two (2) years includes managing testing projects using Maven and GIT; deploying software using Docker; and utilizing MongoDB, and AWS products, including Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
