This is a System Engineer position as a Project Management Lead in the Simulation and System Test (SST) Organization. SST a highly innovative group responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems as well as the integration and test of aircraft software, systems, and subsystems.
The candidate will provide project management support for the F-35 Mission Systems Integration Labs (MSIL) Team. Candidate will serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) responsible for cost and schedule for small to medium size contracts. Will need to demonstrate experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) to perform cost and schedule variance analysis; develop monthly estimate to complete assessments; maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS); risk/opportunity impacts; implement scope changes; and new program baseline activity - all in accordance with established monthly business rhythm.
A level 4 employee Typically has 9 - 15 years of professional experience.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Project Lead in preparing development plans and schedules, guiding the team in the execution of the plans and then tracking progress to the plans, providing technical oversight of various functional engineering teams. The candidate will provide daily assistance to the engineers to resolve conflicts and ensure that the development follows department systems engineering processes. Experience with planning and scheduling tools and techniques. The position requires frequent and effective interaction with internal and external customers, technical staff and leadership. The candidate must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Experience in team leadership
- Project Management Experience.
- Experience managing technical projects
- Technical Engineering Experience
Desired Skills:
- Control Account Manager Experience.
- Familiarity with the F-35 Mission Systems domain.
- Experience in estimating technical development tasks.
