SUMMARY
Global Technical Service. LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Agile Mentor Coach for the Transformation and Execution Logistics Capability Initiatives (LCI) contract in Beavercreek OH. The Agile Mentor/Coach is an expert in lean/Agile practices and one or more knowledge domains (i.e. technical, business, transformation) while having developed skill in facilitation, mentoring, training, and professional coaching. The Agile Coach’s purview is multi-team and looking out toward the wider organization. The Agile Coach should be comfortable working at all levels to help the organization use Agile as a strategic asset of culture change and business value generation. The Agile Coach is pragmatic, not dogmatic, about adopting Agile, and is proactive in driving sustainable, incremental change to improve organizational agility. The Agile Coach is outcome focused, and can demonstrate and speak to how certain Agile practices drive valuable business results.
The Enterprise Agile Coach has three key responsibilities:
1.Provide strategic leadership and guidance - Provide guidance and input to the establishment of programs, portfolios, and value streams to optimize org/team structure; position teams for success, as well as identify organizational impediments to a successful transformation and work with the Logistics Portfolio to create strategies to overcome them.
2.Stand up release trains and value streams – Drive the mobilization of new Agile release trains and value streams; coach & mentor new Release Train Engineers and Value Stream Engineers, as well as counsel the governing pods to help them develop Agile behaviors and mindset, and help them create high-performing release trains and value streams.
3.Coach and mentor Agile delivery teams, their coaches, stakeholders, and leaders to help them adopt the mindset and practices needed to transform the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and contribute to the organization-wide Agile transformation strategy
Attend Agile ceremonies and events (such as PI Planning, Inspect and Adapt workshops, Scrum of Scrums, etc.) to provide guidance
Help mobilize communities of practice for specific roles to enable local thought leadership and collaboration
Provide guidance and input to the establishment of program, portfolio, and value stream teams and in optimizing organizational team structure
Embrace servant leadership and display the behaviors that come with the key mindset shifts associated with Agile methods
Coach and mentor teams, programs, and management towards improving Agile processes and metrics
Help identify organizational impediments to a successful Agile transformation and work with the leadership teams, coaches and delivery teams to create effective strategies to overcome them
Facilitate classroom/workshop training for professional levels through management on Agile frameworks, competencies, and methodologies
Assess the Agile maturity of the teams and coach them to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable.
Be an agent of change who continuously drives Agile maturity levels (including self-organization, servant leadership, flow, respect for individuals, transparency, balance, etc.) by challenging assumptions and current ways of thinking and proposing actionable steps to make incremental, sustainable change
Act as a subject matter expert to instill a culture of measurement with respect to both the impact of change to the business and the effectiveness of the system of delivery
Provide subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education
1 years in an Agile coaching or enterprise coaching role in various enterprises
2-5 years in a delivery role, whether Waterfall or Agile (Scrum Master, Project Manager, Technology Lead, Business Lead, Product Owner, Solution Architect, etc.)
Experience in creating Agile training/workshop material
Experience working with large, small, remote, and collocated Agile teams
Experience in the use of scaling methods
At least 1-2 Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP), Certified or Professional Scrum Trainer (CST, PST), Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC), Associate or Professional Certified Coach (ACC, PCC), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or SAFe Program Consultant Trainer (SPCT)
Demonstrated experience in the design, development, and implementation of Agile transformation strategy
Solid background utilizing an Agile framework (e.g. Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban) in software development
Strong presentation and facilitation skills, coaching and mentorship experience
Solid oral, written, and presentation skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrated experience with lean thinking
Relevant business process improvement, facilitation, and project management skills within the banking or financial services industry
10 years progressive experience, including 5 years experience in process-related roles and 3 years logistics experience.
5 years of people leadership experience on a project basis
Ability to interpret business, technology and architectural requirements and translate into enterprise wide initiatives
Strong project leadership skills
Skills and experience in leading and managing process assessment (documenting as-is) and process analysis (identifying improvement opportunities and defining future state)
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Strong skills in Visio along with other MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work through people to get things done especially when dealing with executive level leadership
Strong skills and experience in issue resolution and managing to stringent timelines for project deliverables
Ability to involve and encourage others to explore ways to be part of the change process
Must possess or be able to obtain a National Agency Check (NAC)

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
